Dr. Tracey Hehn-Zwicker, B.H.K. (Honours Kinesiology), D.C.
Since 1995, Dr. Hehn-Zwicker operated her popular Chiropractic practice from her home clinic on Tyler Street. Dr. Tracey continued caring for her patients working down Yonge Street for 2 years before finding the ideal location to open her Victory Chiropractic Clinic which provides each patient with customized health care services such as chiropractic and computer scanned custom orthotics.
An avid sports enthusiast, Dr. Tracey plays ice hockey, golf and slo-pitch. Experiencing the aging process firsthand, she has personal experience with most of the injuries that her patients experience! She utilizes manual adjusting techniques, laser therapy, specific exercises and stretches and ergonomic/biomechanical analysis to heal the injury and prevent a future occurrence. Dr. Tracey loves the challenge of figuring out why an injury keeps recurring when other medical avenues haven’t helped.
Chiropractic care in conjunction with laser therapy allows for immediate pain relief and creates the right environment for complete healing to occur. Dr. Tracey treats headache, neck and back pain, as well as shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle and foot sports injuries. Through her Kinesiology (Sports Injury) honours degree from the University of Windsor and experience working as a Kinesiologist in a physiotherapy clinic, Dr. Tracey became familiar with the benefits of laser therapy for quickly healing tendon, ligament, and muscle injuries.
Some recurring injuries can be directly attributed to improper foot biomechanics. In order to rectify these chronic conditions, Orthotics may be required. Dr. Tracey can assess a patient's specific needs and determine whether Orthotics will help. Dr. Tracey’s personal well-being approach to chiropractic treatment ensures that the muscles, spine and nervous system are functioning optimally from the ground up.
Dr. Tracey puts new patients at ease by dedicating time to answer all of her patients' questions and thoroughly explains the rationale for treatment. She prides herself on maintaining a professional, relaxed and friendly Clinic atmosphere. Being a mom with two children, Dr. Tracey offers a children’s play area with plenty of toys to ensure that a visit to the Clinic is a pleasurable experience for the whole family!
